What is the DISCOUNTER?

The Discounter is an annual app that offers tons of discounts in the Chicagoland area.
You can use all of the offers seven days a week (some minimal exclusion days apply, such as Public Holidays and other special occasions) for the whole year. Each venue features three Offers, so now you can enjoy a world of great times and big savings.

Your DISCOUNTER membership is a few clicks away. It’s as simple as downloading our App and buying a product and then you’re good to go. You’ll then tons of discount offers in your hands, all year long.

Where can I download THE DISCOUNTER App?

It’s super simple. Just download the free DISCOUNTER App from the Apple App Store, Google Play or Samsung App on your smartphone device and let your DISCOUNTER journey begin.

 Do I need internet connection to use the App and redeem offers?

  • Yes, to redeem Offers on the App you need to be connected to the internet.

  • We like to keep our records (and yours) as up-to-date as possible and this is only possible when your Offers can be tracked! Being connected to the internet means your account can be updated and your redemptions removed from the remaining available offers in real time.

Why are there locked offers in my App?

Once you download the app for the first time all the offers will be locked and as soon as your membership is bought and activated, all offers will be accessible 24/7 for the whole year. (Excluding public holidays) for you to start saving.

Do I have to pay for the App?

You can download the App for free, then choose buy membership ! After purchasing, you will be able to enjoy all the discount offers.

What are the restrictions on using THE DISCOUNTER offers?

The use of all of our Offers are subject to our Rules of Use – please carefully take a look at these before using any Offer to avoid any disappointment.

What are the restrictions on using THE DISCOUNTER offers?

Our Offers have very few restrictions on how and when they can be used, but below is a quick overview of the basic rules & restrictions.

THE DISCOUNTER Offers:

  • Can be used seven days a week – minimal exclusion days apply.

  • Can be redeemed by a minimum of two people (excluding some Beauty & Fitness Offers and Retail & Services Offers).

  • Only one offer can be used per visit.

  • Should be presented before payment or requesting the bill.

  • Are not valid when using any other discount offers, promotions, special menu items or loyalty/rewards programmes.

What are the exclusion days?

We always work but everyone deserves a day off. Enjoy our Offers seven days a week, excluding public holidays.

How many offers can I use at one time?

The general rule for the Offers is as follows:

One Offer can be used by minimum two people.

However, there’s a few exceptions to this rule because

  1. Beauty & Fitness Offers can be used in two ways:

  • One Offer can be used by two people within the same visit, with the second treatment or service being free of charge.

  • One Offer can also be used by one person, where the full price will be paid on the first treatment/service and then the second visit will be free of charge. The merchant will provide a voucher on the first visit to be used on another visit. Please note that the complimentary voucher for the treatment/service must be used within the Offer validity period. It also non-transferable and cannot be issued as a gift voucher.

  • The “Discount” Offers can be used for one visit against the service/item mentioned on the voucher. No need to bring a partner and you are also not obligated to a second visit should you go on your own.

  • Certain Offers in the Fashion & Retail category may be used by one person. These particular Offers will follow the example, “Spend $100 get $50 OFF”.

Can I use a Beauty & Fitness offer on my own?

Of course you can. Your wellness means the world to us. Many of the Beauty & Fitness Offers can be used in two ways:

  1. One Offer can be used by two people within the same visit, with the second treatment or service being free of charge.

  2. One Offer can also be used by one person, where the full price will be paid on the first treatment/service and then the second visit will be free of charge. The merchant will provide a voucher on the first visit to be used on another visit. Please note that the complimentary voucher for the treatment/service must be used within the Offer validity period. It also non-transferable and cannot be issued as a gift voucher.

The “Discount” Offers can be used for one visit against the service/item mentioned on the voucher. No need to bring a partner and not obligated for a second visit should you go on your own.

The discount will apply only on normal rates/prices and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion, discounts, special offers or vouchers. These Offers would need to be presented before the service/item is purchased.
