Rules of Use


  • Membership to a DISCOUNTER product (Membership) is valid for the validity period of such product.

  • The DISCOUNTER purchased by an individual who has an active DISCOUNTER product at time of purchase (Non-Member) onwards is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

  • All Memberships are set to auto-renew on their expiry date for an additional period of 12 months. When auto renewed the payment method used to purchase the original Membership will be charged automatically at the start of the renewal period the fees and taxes applicable on that date. You can turn off this automatic renewal at any time prior to the expiry of an existing Membership by adjusting your membership settings via the App.

  • A Member may request cancellation of a Membership in the first 30 days of a Membership that has been auto renewed only if the product is not used (no Offers have been redeemed) by contacting Customer Service.

Redeeming Offers

  • Redeeming an Offer on your DISCOUNTER App is very simple:

    1. Select your chosen Offer for use on the DISCOUNTER App. If you are in a restaurant or bar, ensure your waiter is informed that you have the DISCOUNTER App before you ask for the bill.

    2. Present your mobile device with the chosen Offer to the server prior to the bill being presented.

    3. The merchant is prompted to enter their P.I.N. (for a select number of merchants, the merchant will also be prompted to fill in the total amount saved and final bill due after discount before being prompted to enter their P.I.N.).

    4. Once the merchant has entered their P.I.N., the Offer will be redeemed and the item or service will be removed from your bill.

  • To redeem more Offers, simply repeat the same process.

  • In the case of a dispute, the bill must be settled as per local law. Relevant parties will be contacted for resolution

  • Offers redeemed are not inclusive of any applicable service charges/taxes (as applicable) and will be separately charged by merchants in compliance with local tax regulations/laws.

Offer Validity

  • Offers are valid for the duration indicated on the Offer, unless otherwise specified.

  • Offers may change throughout your Membership. We reserve the right to remove and/or amend an Offer at any time and cannot be held responsible or liable in any way if an Offer is removed or amended from the DISCOUNTER product

  • Offers are only redeemable with the issuing merchant and/or venue

  • Offers apply only to the items/services and location(s) specified on the Offer

  • Offers are exclusive and not valid in conjunction with any other discount offers, promotions, special offers or dining/loyalty/employee/rewards programs.

  • Offers are valid 7 days a week any time during the issuing merchant's trading hours, unless specified on the Offer and minimal exclusion days apply.

  • Offers redeemed are not inclusive of any applicable service charges.

  • Offers redeemed are not inclusive of any taxes (as applicable) and may be separately charged by merchants in compliance with local tax regulations/laws.

  • If a merchant or venue refuses to honor any Offer, please contact service.

  • Unauthorized reproduction, resale or modification of any Offer is prohibited. Offers are void if resold or bartered

  • Offers are not redeemable for cash. Unauthorized reproduction, resale or modification of any Offer is prohibited. Offers are void if resold or bartered.

  • Three offers are available per merchant and not per outlet. Thus, when you redeem an offer it will show as redeemed at all locations for that merchant. Once you have redeemed all offers for a merchant, all locations will be locked.

Food & Drinks Offers

  • A Main Course/Main Menu Item is defined as the main element of a customer's lunch or dinner, which can include 'Sushi', 'Burger', 'Pizza' and/or 'Pasta'. The DISCOUNTER is not responsible for the specific layout/design of a merchant's menu. If in doubt, clarify with the server before ordering. One Offer can be used to redeem one qualified item only per visit, unless otherwise specified.

  • The least expensive item (as listed on the Offer) will be deducted. The two items must be from the same category as marked on the Offer, e.g. buy one "Main Course" and get one "Main Course" free; or buy one "Sushi Set Lunch" and get one "Sushi Set Lunch" free; or buy one "House Beverage" and get one "House Beverage" free.

  • Only one bill will be presented per table, per group. No splitting of bills will be allowed.

  • Offers are valid solely for the item listed and are not valid for special events (e.g. buffets, set price brunch menu, themed nights/events, special menus or in conjunction with B.Y.O), unless otherwise indicated on the Offer

  • Offers are not redeemable for breakfast, starters, side dishes, desserts, combos, kids' menu or shared platters*, sharing dishes, mezze unless otherwise indicated on the Offer (*Shared platters include whole fish and sharing meat priced per kilogram)

  • If a children's buffet and an adult buffet are on the same bill, the lower priced buffet will be deducted from the bill

  • Offers are not valid for delivery or take-away, unless otherwise indicated on the Offer.

  • Discounts do not apply to service charges

  • No corkage is allowed, unless otherwise specified

  • Offers contained in Informal Dining & Take-away can be used by 1 person, unless otherwise specified

Attractions & Leisure Offers

  • "Discount Offers" can be used against the service/item/activity mentioned on the voucher. The discount will apply only on normal rates/prices and cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions or special offers. These Offers would need to be presented before the service/item/activity is purchased.

  • Terms & Conditions may vary with a number of activities, so please refer to the individual merchant/outlet for confirmation of minimum/maximum number of people, age restrictions, safety guidelines and other conditions

  • Prior booking may be required for certain offers and/or activities

  • Offers will not be valid on any public holiday

Beauty & Fitness Offers

  • "Buy One Get One Free" Offers can be redeemed in two ways:

    1. One Offer can be used by 2 people within the same visit, with the second treatment or service being complimentary

    2. One Offer can be used by an individual, whereby you must pay full price for the first treatment/service and your second treatment/service will be complimentary on your next visit. The merchant provides a voucher for the second treatment/service to be used on another visit. The complimentary treatment/service must be redeemed within the Offer validity period. Please note: gift vouchers cannot be issued for your complimentary treatment/service. The complimentary treatment/service is non-transferable.

  • Please present the Offer, at the completion of the treatment/service, prior to requesting the bill. If the Offer is in the Health & Fitness section, please present it prior to the commencement of any class or activity

  • Prior booking is required

  • As for other discount offers please follow store rules and restrictions.

Hotel Offers

You need to call the property directly to make a booking. State that you will be using an offer with THE DISCOUNTER, and they will assist you with the booking. Payment is made with the property directly.

  • Select the Hotel that you wish to view the offer.

  • Click on the Hotel and view the available offers.

  • Once you have chosen your property and offer, please call the hotel directly to check availability and book.

Our offers are only valid for bookings made directly by calling or emailing the hotel's reservations desk. THE DISCOUNTER members are required to request the availability of the Hotel Offer at the time of booking.

The Hotel Offer is not valid for online bookings via the hotel website or any third-party website.

Advanced reservations must be made directly with the hotel before arrival. The Hotel Offer is not valid for walk-ins without a previous reservation.

The Hotel Offer does not apply to corporate, group or conference rates or travel agency bookings. It may not be combined with other discount offers or programs, including third-party travel rates or daily deal websites.

This Hotel Offer may not be available during public holidays. Minimum night stays, and special event or seasonal restrictions may apply.

The Hotel Offer is valid for new bookings made following these Rules and does not apply to any existing booking where a deposit or payment has been made.

Hotel rates are quoted in local currency or as specified by the hotel.

The Hotel Offer does not include air travel, hotel transfers or other inclusions unless otherwise specified on the Hotel Offer.

All bookings are subject to the standard payment and cancellation policies (see Section 3 "HOTEL POLICIES" below).

To redeem the Hotel Offer, THE DISCOUNTER digital voucher of the Hotel Offer, must be presented at the hotel reception at the time of check-in.
